Pink Beach (Pantai Merah) is one of the most famous beaches in the world and one of only seven pink sand beaches on the entire planet. Located on the southeastern shore of Komodo Island, this natural wonder gets its distinctive pink hue from microscopic organisms called Foraminifera, which produce a red pigment on coral reefs that mixes with the white sand.
Beyond its stunning appearance, Pink Beach boasts some of the best snorkeling in Komodo National Park. The shallow waters near the shore are home to vibrant coral gardens teeming with tropical fish, sea turtles, and other marine life. The visibility is often excellent, making it perfect for underwater photography.
All of our trip routes include a stop at Pink Beach, giving you ample time to relax on the unique sand, snorkel in the pristine waters, and capture unforgettable photos.
